Santa's Little Helper...

Santa's Little Helper

This is one of my favorite Christmas cards so far.  The image is fun to color and is capable of standing alone with minimal embellishment.  Definitely a plus for me.

It's a Mo Manning image - printed out three times.  The first is the base panel, the 2nd and 3rd are used to create the added layers to the image with paper sculpting.  You are able to see more of the depth in the photo below.  I colored with Copics and used Diamond Glaze on the tape dispenser to create the shine.  The elevation of all the parts is achieved with foam tape.  The panels, inside and out, were pierced around the edges to create faux stitching.

INSIDE
The sentiment on the inside is a very old rubber stamp by Rubber Stamp Ave.

Halloween 1/5

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I have several Halloween cards that I will post - this is #1 of 5.

This is a Mo Manning digital image that I have colored with Copics. Purple brads to secure the corners to the mat and a rubber stamped one word sentiment are the only embellishments - makes a flat, easy to mail card.

Repeat design - different uses...

"Warmest Wishes" can be found
at Mo's Digital Pencil Too
Last post I made was a tutorial on how to use this design as a gift card holder - here I used the same concept as a pop-up birthday celebration.

This image is by Mo Manning. The punch for the balloons is from SU and I used DP as well as vellum.  Each is double sided with a thin strip of acetate glued between them and then stuck into the slot that would hold the gift card on my earlier project.  Corners on the focal image were made with a Corner Chomper, the sentiment is by Hero Arts and the top portion of a tag die was used to cut the opening in the pop-up.
As this is for a male relative - no extra frou-frou was used.

This card should be eligible
