Gena's card...

This card is by Gena, my 13 year old neighbor friend.  Gena has been coming over for awhile to take "lessons".  Today she finished up this card and wanted to post this in my blog so my friends could see it.  I suggested we should also enter it into some challenges.
After coloring the image with her markers, she fussy cut it and added glitter embossing powder.  She added the ribbon to provide a place for her fairy to sit and then added the dragonflies [in an odd numer] to balance her composition and finished it off with a Wink of Stella to their wings.
The image is "Leaning Am" by In Style Stamps, the background paper is from "Indie Bloom" by Basic Grey, the Dragonfly is from PSX and the ribbon is from stash.
This view shows a hint of the wing glitter.

The inside shows her sentiment and
the use of the left over paper from the front.

You can smell the love...

This is another of my favorite Mo Manning images from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Strawberry Girl".  I have colored her with Copics.  The background stamp is red rubber from Hero Arts.  The girl was protected with a fussy cut duplicate and the Asian script was stamped surrounding her.  I have been told that I stamped it upside down... so forgive me that!
Corners were rounded with a Corner Chomper and very small, matching 'button' brads were used to secure it.

The inside consists of a strip of leftover DP
that picks up the yellow greens used on the front.  The Dragonfly stamp is rubber from PSX.  The sentiment has been left off till I decide on the exact occasion for the card.

Inappropriate comments...

It's a new month and a new challenge for 613 Ave C - ATG with an optional twist of a CAS Card, a sentiment as the focal image and the color blue.
I opted for this wonderful sentiment from Ginger's House that seriously amuses me!  Ginger offers her incredible, often funny or irreverent sentiments as freebies.  You can't go wrong bookmarking her site!
The frame was created a long time ago when I was playing with paste thru a stencil - I dug it out of my stash so I don't have a source for you at this time.  The paste is a dark blue, which is not translating well on this photo, nor can you see the depth of the paste lines which are as much as 1/16" in height.  That, along with elevating the sentiment on foam tape, provides some texture to the card.  My touch of bling has been done with Duo glue and gold foil.

The inside is another of Ginger's freebies - it reads: "Too bad you don't live closer because there are evil plots to be hatched and and [sic] twisted deeds to be done."  It's funny that I never saw that typo until I tried to type it out here - hmmmm.  Oh well, it is signed and on it's way to my co-conspirator!
