Let the Shenanigans begin!

Oh my!  This gal sent me over the moon - had to have her!  I have red hair, sometimes use a cane and I am Irish thru and thru!  Art Impressions put together this great "Sham-rock Set" of wonderful images and super sentiments... I grabbed it up before it was sold out!
I double stamped this gal - one for the background and one to fussy cut and put on an "Action Wobble" spring [Also an AI product] so it would shake and wiggle.  You can see her "other" legs underneath from this angle.   I colored the images with Copics and on her jacket used blender solution to give it the appearance of wool.
The sentiments on the front and inside are both from the set which also comes with a four leaf Clover.  I wanted to use a Shamrock so I cut off one of the leaves.  A four leaf Clover is a rare mutation of the three leaf clover [one in 10,000] and thus considered 'lucky' to find.  It is often shown interchangeably with the Shamrock [a young, smaller sprig of a clover] as a symbol of St. Pat's Day.  The plant was used by Saint Patrick to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity and has subsequently become a national symbol of Ireland.  'Shamrock' comes from seamróg, the Irish name that translates as "little clover".
StPatrick's revelers thought wearing green made one invisible to leprechauns who would pinch anyone they could see (anyone not wearing green).  People began pinching those who didn't wear green as a reminder that leprechauns could see them.

Create wildly and color with abandon!

  4. Oh, Ginny, what a great card this is! Love the coloring – perfect as always – love the texture you've created on her jacket with the blending, love the 'wobbly' feature so that she appears to move, love the shamrocks (and your history of them, which I did not know), love the cut-out of the shamrocks around the sentiment, love the green ribbon...heck, LOVE the whole thing!!! Bravo, my friend.
