PROCESS INVENTORY
IMAGES:
- This image is "Patty Cake" drawn by Lizzy Love & sold at Oddball Art. If you like the image - you can find it here and right now I noticed it is on sale for $2.55.
- For the focal image I used Paper Tole Technique to give her dimension. Printed 4 copies, colored them with Copics, fussy cut and 'paper sculpted' the images. The layers were both glued in some places & elevated in others with foam tape to achieve the desired dimension. This is what the image looks like before my coloring - the waves were created with Copics.
- The Sentiment was a freebie from Ginger's House and I think it is perfect for a Belated Birthday!
PAPER:
- Neenah "Classic Crest Solar White" 80# Cover Wt. used for the image.
- DP used for the layers are from Basic Grey's 'Indie Bloom' and 'Hello Luscious' collections.
- Stitched Die Cuts were used to shape the layers from Spellbinders.
- Base CS is Recollections - 110 lb, Ivory found at Michaels.
- Inside uses left over DP fro the front:
EMBELLISHMENTS:
- Yellow/Green ribbon from stash.

Create wildly and color with abandon! ~ginny
Girl!!! You are so good!!! I looked at the 'real' image of her hair and I am so impressed with your coloring. You gave a completely different look. I think the expression you're looking for is a 'marcel wave' for this type of 1920's hairstyle. The paper and ribbon you've chosen is an excellent match, but this image is just so well done you could have stuck her on a paper sack and she'd have looked nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you Shani! I kept looking under Marcella curls and that was not what I was looking for! I'm going up now to alter my post & put that in!

ReplyDeleteYou've done a fabulous job on her hair Ginny, the waves look totally real. Lovely paper tole too, giving the whole image dimension. It's a bit scary to read that you actually enlarge my card pictures and take a closer look at them, there's bound to be some horrendous mistakes that show up under magnification :/
