I have to admit that even though I use digital images frequently, I have never played with layering images [I am a Rubba-girl at heart!] - so this turned out to truly be a challenge for me! Learning how to manipulate layering of digi elements and png files was new to me and there was a learning curve with my very elementary tools... [I use Libre Office - it is free and I am cheap! However it is not the friendliest graphics tool in the shed I'm afraid!] The long and short of it is - I like how this turned out! [And dang, I learned a lot!]
613 Ave C's challenge this week is an
Anything Goes - and the sponsor I am working with is a new one -
DÉCOSSE'S DYNAMITE DOODLES. Lisa's images are pre-colored
digital sentiments, papers and other embellishments. I chose to use five elements from her brand new bundle of Halloween images and papers: the frame, "washi tape" [at the bottom inside of the frame], the word art, lantern and raven. There are a huge number of choices in this set and if you are looking for elements for your digital projects, either as a focal image or background... check Lisa out!!

I then used a Sassy Cheryl image [a gift from a sweet friend!] called "Sassy Witch" as my focal image. For Sassy, the Raven & the Lantern,
I used a "Paper Sculpting Technique" that consists of: printing the image(s) multiple times, coloring with Copics, fussy cutting different layers, sculpting the individual pieces [dry embossing each individual piece from the back using a large ball tool] and layering with foam tape to maintain the dimension. The frame is just printed on the base layer by the way - look at the visual dimension you get!
This card should be eligible for the following
