National PINK Day - 6/23... Card #2

"Girl on her Bike" provided by Lee H Illustrations
This is card #2 for
National Pink Day.
[Scroll down for Card #1.]

613 Ave. C has challenged you to "Use Pink" and has a whopper of FOUR sponsors this week - Bugaboo Stamps, Lee's Digi Shop, Time for Tea and Hannah Lynn Art!  You know what that means... FOUR prizes available for your efforts!  So, dang people!  Get up to three projects and get them in by 6/28 for four chances each to win a prize!  You don't have to go to the extreme pink option I did - you can see other GREAT ideas from the DT at
613 Ave C.

[Note: specific information on supplies and sources will be found below under “Supplies”.]
  • Base card is cut to fit in a business envelope with the front flap cut short to reveal the lace trim on the inside.
  • I used a "Paper Sculpting Technique" on the little girls head & face that consists of:  printing the focal image twice, coloring with Copics, fussy cutting the layer, sculpting the individual piece [dry embossing  from the back using a large ball tool] and layering with foam tape to maintain the dimension.
  • Two scalloped circle punches were used for the image and mat and a tag punch for the sentiment - which was mounted on foam tape.
  • Candi & a scrap ribbon were added to the tag along with Liquid Pink Pearls around the scalloped Circle.
  • Inside is a sentiment I found hysterical...

Which could explain a lot.

This card should be eligible for the following
