It's kinda fun to sit and color in a whole scene like this - back to my coloring book days! And of course, I couldn't resist - I also had to do some paper sculpting.
TECHNIQUE

- I used a "Paper Sculpting Technique" that consists of: printing the focal image twice, coloring with Copics, fussy cutting different layers, sculpting the individual pieces [dry embossing each individual piece from the back using a large ball tool] and layering with foam tape to maintain the dimension. The three little bears in front and the mama's left arm and head were all sculpted. You can see some of that better in this photo.
- I drew in the boards so I could make a wooden floor and added a sentiment.
- The focal panel and the insides are double matted.
