Clean and Simple - designed for a Brother-in-law who was born and raised on Iowa farmland. Work boots and a hat are ever present for him and this stamp reminds me of him and his Dad.

  • I used a dark brown Distress Ink for this image and rounded the corners opposite the fold.
  • "Remember" was stamped on a piece of cork using a pre-inked stamp set.
  • The faux brads were created by punching CS with an 1/8th inch hole punch five times and then putting the punched circles on the sticky back of a sticky note to hold them in place.  A drop of Duo Glue was put on each circle, and when dried to sticky, gold gilding was applied.  Glue was placed on the card at 5 equidistant spots and the 5 circles were then set on each glue drop.

This card should be eligible for the following
OSAAT #213 – Keep it Simple
Through the Craft Room Door – ATG
Crafting from the Heart#19 – ATG
Sweet Stamps #170 – ATG
Divas by Design – ATG
Paper Crafting Journey – For that Special Man

IMAGES:  The focal image rubber stamp is only marked with "Standing Strand / Tamarind NB" - I have no idea what that means!?
PAPER:  Kraft CS used for the base card
EMBELLISHMENTS: Cork sheets are from stash; Faux brads created as described above..
INKS: Distress Inks used on the image.
