Aud Sentiments current Challenge #99 is for a "Valentine Sentiment" - and my DT card will eventually wind it's way to our grand kids - one boy, one girl. Now the masculine image, the pinks and blues and not much frill make sense, eh?
TECHNIQUE
[Note: specific information on
supplies and sources will be found below under
“Supplies”.]
- Background is an "off the desk" leftover layered on a turquoise A2 card
- Image was printed out twice, colored with Copics, fussy cut, sculpted from the back and then layered with glue and foam tape.
- Sentiment was printed on scraps and layered three deep for dimension.
- Hearts were punched out two each, sculpted and also layered with foam.

Ginny this is fab, especially the backing paper, which is sort of a psychedelic tartan! Love the colours too. (Can I ask a silly question? What is fussy cutting? Is it when you go really close in for furry effects etc? I'm so scared of anything that looks like 3d decoupage because I always make a complete mess of it or lose a vital part or cut off an arm or something...I'm such a backward crafter!)
