I've created two cards for the youngest grandkids starting back to school -
the other will be posted on Monday. This image is from Melonheadz.
I started by choosing the background papers from my desk scrapes of "Life of the Party" collection by Basic Grey. The first yellow layer and the focal image panel's edges are inked with Distress Ink and matted with black. From the 2nd BG paper I have created two elements as embellishment - one the fishtail banner and the 2nd a paper ribbon running through a chipboard slide. This last reminds me of a child's backpack strap. The image was colored with Copics.
This card should be eligible for the following
Sisterhood of Crafters - Oh Scrap (BG DP are all scraps)
613 Ave C #33 - Anything Goes
OSSAT #177 - Back to School
Clear It Out - Back to School with Chipboard
Crafty Sentiments - Colorful
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday #108 - Initials (My initials are GG: green and grin!)
Simon Says Wed. - Back to School
Crafty Ribbon #58 - Anything Goes with Ribbon (handmade paper ribbon thru the slider.)
Fussy and Fancy #96 - Back to School
Basic Grey #101 - Back to School
