Digi Darla's Challenge Blog gave us a freebie this week and the challenge is for every entry to use it! I thought it would be fun to see so many variations all of the same image.
TECHNIQUE
I printed it out twice and colored with Copics. From one copy, the flower, leaf, his head and his arms were fussy cut and sculpted from the back. These sculpted parts were then added to the base (colored with a dark grey to increase the "shadow" effect). Foam tape was used to achieve dimension. I tied ribbon around the image panel and layered it on the DP background. A sentiment from Hero Arts was added and "Candi" for the center of the flower.
