Destination - X marks the spot... WINNER


 Oh how I love Mo Manning's images!  I had a good time putting this card together.  The image was printed twice so I could layer the head, hat and the pewter cup for dimension   The panel with the raindrops was embossed after stamping and I blanket stitched the top and side of the focal panel with waxed linen.  All the underlying panels were edged with Distress Inks

SUPPLIES AND TECHNIQUES
IMAGES:  The focal image is by Mo Manning at Digital Pencil Too; "Destination" is a self inking "Mini Word"; "Water Droplets" is a texture stamp from Designs by Ryn
PAPER:  Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# Cover Wt. used for the images; DP and base CS is is from stash
EMBELLISHMENTS: Sentiment tab and frame are from a Stampin Up  punch; purple waxed linen thread (Volcano Arts) used for stitching and wrapped around the map; metal tag and large metal brad from my stash.
INKS: Lavender Distress Inks were used on the edges of the panels; the image was printed on a Canon PIXMA printer & colored with Copics:

    He looks a bit scary but I love him .Just the right amount of stitching ,I know I can get carried away and it's everywhere .
    Thanks for your comments about my card ,the background paper was in a pack from a cheap shop .It seemed just right for my card.
