TECHNIQUE
My fly-butter needed a branch to sit on so I drew one with a Micron pen and added Zentangle leaves (Poke-root) to the end - also the feelers on the dragonfly. Both images were colored with Copics. I inked the edges of all three layers, wrapped a lacy ribbon around the 2nd panel and taped everything down. For the finishing details I added a half black pearl to his eye, three larger black pearls to the corner, glitter and eyes to the dragonfly.

Love this, ~ginny. I am a huge fan of ADFD images but somehow I missed this one. Gorgeous colour scheme and layering. The doodled branch is awesome and so cool how it's fussy cut next to the leaves. I'm here from Eclectic Ellapu this time and so delighted you joined us. It's always a treat to see your creations.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! So many beautiful little touches. Thank you for sharing your "Favourite" with us at OSAAT, and I hope you'll join us for a new challenge tomorrow. Best, CG
