'Socialite' provided by Kenny K |
TECHNIQUE
[Note: specific information on supplies and sources will be found below under “Supplies”.]
- Base card starts with an A2 size of 4.25 x 11" - but before creating a fold I used an embossing die-cut that cuts the shape out of the back [see photo] and embosses a fold line. I did then cut the bottom off to accommodate the extra length created at the top - this maintains the A2 size.
- The front of the card was embossed with a diamond E-folder by Cuttlebug.
- I chose to use this fabulous image from Kenny K named 'Socialite' and colored it with Copics. The focal image panel was then cut with the same die-cut used on the base card, a shear ribbon colored with my Copics was attached around the base and then the panel was mounted using foam tape for dimension.
- Sentiment was punched and mounted on a punched mat. Both were mounted on foam tape to match the depth of the image panel.

ReplyDeleteHi Ginny...I am so glad I finally able to check your Blog as I've been wanting to do so but just could not find enough time. You are one sweet lady and I am very grateful for all the wonderful comments you left my Blog. I love to read your comments for they are very personal and shows how you not only pass by but took the time to check and read the post. Just want you to know that I appreciate everything you do. Now, this card of yours is stunning. Perfect coloring of the image and the lay-out and colors are truly wonderful. Now, how were you able to just cut a part of the die-cut in your base card? I can see that the front wasn't cut at all, just the back. This makes me really curious...LOL Anyway, have a blessed day and continue to be the encouraging person you are. Hugs!
