This is one of my favorite Christmas cards so far. The image is fun to color and is capable of standing alone with minimal embellishment. Definitely a plus for me.
It's a Mo Manning image - printed out three times. The first is the base panel, the 2nd and 3rd are used to create the added layers to the image with paper sculpting. You are able to see more of the depth in the photo below. I colored with Copics and used Diamond Glaze on the tape dispenser to create the shine. The elevation of all the parts is achieved with foam tape. The panels, inside and out, were pierced around the edges to create faux stitching.

SUPER cute, Ginny!!! And you are so right, too much embellishment on this card would take away from that awesomely cute image and your fantastic coloring. I like how the packages are sitting on the edge of the white base, it really brings the eye into the picture and we focus on the elf. Great idea, too, for shining up that tape dispenser! Bravo, my California Friend!!!
