My preference is to not ever repeat a design. However, to bring some continuity to the "set", I used 4 basic elements with each card:
- The base card and envelope are all Kraft CS
- All the images are Mo's - creating a consistency in style.
- All six use an identical sized background paper with the bottom one inch hand torn and adhered with a gap.
- Each will have an elevation to the image by using an average of three sculpted layers for each image.
I will be posting one card a month in order to enter them in Mo's Challenge Blog - so this will be the first in the series.
"Extra"
PROCESS INVENTORY
IMAGES:
- "Extra" by Mo Manning can be purchased at Mo's Digital Pencil
- For the focal image I used Paper Tole Technique to 3D the image. Printed 3 copies, colored them with Copics, fussy cut and 'paper sculpted' the image. The layers were both glued & elevated with foam tape to achieve dimension.
- Sentiment is a rubber stamp by -?
PAPER:
- Neenah "Classic Crest Solar White" 80# Cover Wt. used for the image.
- Background papers consist of a grey paper embossed with a "brick wall", corrugated paper off a Starbuck's coffee cup, a coppery shiny CS from stash.
- Ticket Stub punch by Corner Chomper used for the corners.
This card should be eligible for the following

Wow Ginny these are just gorgeous. Hugs Sheryl xx
ReplyDeleteWow! You've managed to find the perfect balance between individual styles and a sense of common design. I love this! In spite of similarities each card's beauty really stand out to me. This newspaper boy is so sweet, I love making cards for boys, I've got 4, soon 5, nephews and no nieces, so that might be why:)
