One of my very earliest childhood memories is of coloring with a babysitter. I was a tow-head then and this scene really brings it all back! Probably down to the paint spots on the smock & the wall (should have made that the floor, eh?)!
The image was printed out twice, colored with Copics, one was fussy cut into 3 sections, edges colored with black and finally sculpted to round the pieces. The three sections were the legs, head and the smock & they were attached to the first print out with glue in places I wanted to recede (as in the neck, right arm and shoes) and with foam tape where it should stand out (her head, left arm and lower smock.) The smock was obviously paper pieced from Basic Grey paper (matched with the BG yellow DP used as matting.)
The inside consists of scraps from the three papers used on the front.

~ginny, she's a sweetie! I love the paper-piecing you've added as well as the sculpting. The primary colours of the matting and her painting looks fabulous. The photo corners are a wonderful detail and make it look like a photo from an album...maybe of you :)
