Smooth Sailing...

I have a cousin who will be having spine surgery and I thought a "Wishing you smooth sailing" card would be perfect for him.  And it fits right in with the latest challenge for Craft Your Passion... "Water, water everywhere!" (Must have water depicted in your card.)  Your entry needs to be in by Sunday, April 14 and if you need some ideas, check out the inspiration cards the Design Team created for you!

This image from Robyn's Fetish was printed out twice and colored with Copics.  The tips of the waves were coated with Copic Opaque white to make the white-caps.  The sail and the duck were fussy cut and mounted on foam tape to give the 3-D appearance you can see in the angled close-up.
For this fairly Clean And Simple (CAS) look I have added a ribbon, heart shaped, a wooden button with a brown twine bow and 3 dark copper, metal brads.   A frame was formed around the image using a Scor-It.  You can see the lines in this close-up.

The sentiment is wishing him "Smooth Sailing"!

This card should be eligible for the following
