A Summer Dress...


Charming image from A Day for Daisies... perfect for a "Summer" challenge.
After coloring the focal image I masked off the edges and used Distress Inks to create a faux frame.  I used a lace punch to make a "ribbon" for down one side, a Cuttlebug folder to create the plaid on the base card and finally colored white Candi with the same pink Copic I used for her dress to fit the corners punched with the stub shape.

PAPER:  Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# Cover Wt. used for the images; all other paper and the base CS is from my stash.
EMBELLISHMENTS: Lace Ribbon I made with a punch by Martha; the plaid embossing on the base card is with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Candi colored with Copics
INKS: "Weathered Wood" Distress Inks were used to create the faux frame; the image is printed on a Canon PIXMA printer & colored with Copics:
