Winnie the Pooh Day...

"Winter Cocoa" provided by Sami Stamps
My youngest brother is 10 years my junior - and when he was small, I read Winnie the Pooh to him over and over and... over!  Many of the quotes are still in my head like this one from Eeyore: "Thank you Pooh.  You're a real friend, not like some."  To this day my nickname for my bro is still "Pooh"!
613 Ave C  is celebrating the day with a challenge theme based on Winnie the Pooh!  The sponsors will be Fitztown and Sami Stamps and the details of the challenge can be found by clicking here.  You should also check out the theme interpretations from my teammates - there are some great things to inspire you!  You have till next Saturday to submit up to 3 projects for a chance at the two prizes this go around.

On this card I used two different Spellbinders Dies - the oval set used for the sentiment, image and their mats, and the border die set.  A Cottage Cutz Die was used to create the clouds which have been mounted on foam tape for dimension.  After cutting the white CS border, I backed up that front panel with a Navy Blue CS underneath.  The image has been colored with Copics.

  13. Hi Ginny - thank you so much for the lovely comment on my blog. I will certainly have a think about applying for the DT - it would be lovely to be involved in something like that again especially seeing as I have more time on my hands now. How funny to visit your blog and see that you have been using maps too! I love what you have done here - certainly a sentiment and idea worth saving. Ann xxx
