This is Mo Manning's "Winter Fairy". OMGosh this woman has MAD skills in my opinion!
You can find this image at Digital Pencil Too.
TECHNIQUE
Starting with the base card - I cut off the bottom of the front flap and added the doily punched edge and then two icicle punched CSs were layered and taped on the top edge. The focal image was colored with Copics, matted and added to the front. On the inside, I created an explosion page with the DP - a 6x6" sheet folded in quarters and once diagonally. Snowflakes, a sentiment and message panel were added to that paper. Bling added to the front included pearls for each snowflake and glitter glue for his breath.

Hi, Ginny! I agree with you. Mo Manning definitely has skills, and so do you, lady! I love your card! I just tried this fold and love it. Will use it when the right project theme comes along. Your coloring is fabulous as always. This is beautiful! Thanks for slipping it under our door at 613 Avenue Create!

BTW: Good Luck on TPS!
Stunning design and image Ginny x
ReplyDeleteOh Ginny, this Christmas card is utterly adorable. The winter scene that you have created around "Winter Fairy" is stunning (Do you get much winter to talk about in California?) and the 'sparkle' you have given to the fairy's frosted breath is a very visual way to show the cold crispness of the day. But the treats do not stop there because on opening up your card we have the Explosion of lovely Christmas sentiments bursting forth. Good Luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)
