I love this image!! "Guarding the Nest" is from Delicious Doodles, one of the sponsors for the Fairies and Fantasy challenge at Craft Your Passion.
The hardest part was deciding on the colors I wanted to make her. I will have to do 2 or 3 more versions to try out all the color combos I dreamed of. So here is the first one - the next one will be oranges, yellows and reds. Luckily I have a Niece who likes dragons - good for her birthday coming up!.
I decided to create a faux frame for her by taping off the edges and then sponging the Distress Ink in toward the image. I chose Pumice Stone to mimic a cave or rock ledge for her nest.
Check out the other fabulously fantastic "Fairies and Fantasy" inspiration by the CYP Design Team HERE. and enter your version in the challenge! Too much fun!
