Back to School...

 This is the last of my back to school images for the grand-kids   It was a chance to do a slightly (is there such a thing as slightly?) vintage look.  The Basic Grey Paper started the look with the ruler paper and the matching star paper.  I had a very old stamp with books on the shelf which were heat embossed, colored with "Tea Dye" and fancy cut.  I scanned and printed out the white ruler on the bottom, added the ADFD apple & worm and the button.  The image panel and apple are  elevated on foam tape for dimension. The background DP and the base card stock are colored with the Distress Ink and a sponge.

PAPER:  Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# Cover Wt. used for the images; DP is from "Life of the Party" from Basic Grey; base CS is Georgia Pacific

EMBELLISHMENTS: Button with waxed linen is from stash; I scanned the ruler, printed and cut it out.

INKS:  "Tea Dye" Distress Inks were used to distress the edges and to color the books; the focal image was printed on a Canon PIXMA printer & colored with Copics:
