- This image is a freebie from Bugaboo Stamps and seemed to be the perfect image to use for this card. I recently received a set of Wobble springs that you won't be able to see here... it is an attachment with two adhesive patches with a spring in the middle. When the card is pulled from the envelope the snail will wobble and shake - and bring a giggle! The image was colored with Copics, mounted over Basic Grey DP, and three embellishments were added:
- square black brads
- a Studio 18 Rhinestone
- "Icycle" Stickles for the snail slime

ReplyDeleteOh I just love that snail, sweet... thanks for joining us at Simon Says Challenge blog
ReplyDeleteAdorable image Ginny! I'm still trying to get the hang of copics. I need more time to practice :-)
ReplyDeleteDonna - thanks for your comments! You are so right... looong hours of practice! I keep going to blogs/ artists I follow and carefully analyzing how the artist has colored - especially paying attention to shadows - and then trying to replicate the ones I really admire. Sometimes I get something I am pleased with and (heavy sigh) sometimes NOT!
